Types of Membership available: Regular membership shall be open to all persons eighteen years of age and older who are in good standing with the American Kennel Club, subscribe to the purposes of this Club, and who reside in the states of ME, MA, CT, VT, NH, RI, and NY.
Household Membership shall be open to two adults residing in the same household in New England. Each shall be entitled to a separate vote and to hold office.
Junior Membership shall be open to all persons between the ages of ten and eighteen who are otherwise eligible for regular membership. A Junior member in good standing, upon turning eighteen years of age, automatically becomes a full member with all the rights and privileges thereof.
Note: Junior membership shall not include voting or office holding privileges.
Prerequisite for Membership: Attendance at two Club functions or meetings shall be a prerequisite for individual, household, and junior membership
Membership Dues:
Dues are payable on the 1st day of January of each year.
No member may vote whose dues are not paid for the current year. During the month of November the treasurer shall send to each member statement of his dues for the ensuing year.
Application Process: Each applicant for membership shall apply on the application form as approved by the Board of Directors and which shall provide that the applicant agrees to abide by these by-laws and the rules of the American Kennel Club.
